Aperture 2.0 Trial on my Powerbook

My 12” Powerbook is not the newest Mac, but so far I could not find a Application that I use which does not work. The newer Macs are faster and allow more memory, but Money does not grow on Trees. I read about the Speed increase and all the other new features. So I signed up for the Trial and downloaded the Package. Because the Hardware Check complained about my Powerbook I Copied the Aperture Trial Content into a Directory on my Powerbook and then clicked on ApertureTrial.mpkg -> Show Package Contentsedited ApertureTrial.distas for my Powerbook memory and Cpu is not the problem I looked for the Card and look what I found

var badCards = new Array(“GeForce FX Go5200”);

That is not nice, only one Card is in this array, and as I desperately wanted to try out the improved App I edited this check into

var badCards = new Array(“who cares”);

and voila, now I have a Aperture 2.0 Trial running on my Powerbook. It works great and it is really faster than the 1.5.6 Version.
